Marissa & Mike's St. Patty's Day Wedding!

We recently had the pleasure of capturing Marissa & Mike's exciting St. Patty's Day wedding! It was a beautiful, bright and sunny day for a Catholic ceremony in Ridgewood, NJ. Complete with a bagpipe player to announce the start of the ceremony, even the groomsmen were decked out in traditional kilts.
Her gorgeous bridesmaids looked glamorous in sparkling gold sequin dresses in a variety of lengths and necklines that made them stand out with a touch of unique flair and sophistication. 

During bride and groom prep, we were able to capture the formals that needed to be taken with the couple and their wedding party (bride with her bridesmaids and groom with his groomsmen). That way, we could capture their formals as a couple together, along with the entire wedding party and family during the first half hour of cocktail hour. Ensuring they would still have time to greet and mingle with their guests before the reception.

Like any groom anticipating the arrival of his bride, you could feel Mike's excitement the moment he laid eyes on his bride. 

 
The cathedral ceilings, long pews and intricate stained glass windows made for a stunning backdrop for their formals.
The reception took place at The Villa at Mountain Lake, NJ. Mike and Marissa had something that many couples forget to have on their wedding day, they had fun! They danced the night away with their friends and family while party hats were tossed about and the DJ made sure the dance floor was packed with excited guests.
